This was how to do it almost everywhere (especially on the Internet) that we pod pilots are simply too lazy, all tender and sometimes in the team speak a one-syllable word is shorter than one with several. BS = Battleship
POS = Player Owned Structure
HAC = Heavy Assault Cruiser (actually it would HAS = Heavy Assault Ships hot, but the HACs based on the cruisers = cruiser)

Inty = Interceptor (smaller, faster interceptors)
Vent = Ventrilo (Voice over IP application)

LR = Long Range BS
RR = Remote Rep (note this article on my Guardian , as is it, what is this remote Reppen!)
Tackling = JMD. they be prevented from warping away
